I tried surfing. The ocean did not cooperate. I wiped out, learned about balance the hard way, and was reminded that I’m not in charge. But somewhere between the waves and the quiet moments, I realized this year isn’t about control — it’s about trusting God.
December has a way of making us look—really look—at what we’ve lived and what carried us through. This year held light and shadows, questions and growth. It wasn’t perfect. It was real. And somehow, through every crack, grace found its way in anyway.
I’m great at multitasking — just not at being present. Turns out, Jesus never rushed through His to-do list… and maybe I shouldn’t either.
